To the previous generation Triumphs were the IN and Cool bikes of the day. I rode a Honda 305 scrambler back then and my older brother and his friends treated it like it was a toy. Of course they were all on Triumph 650 Twin Scramblers.

They had no trouble outrunning me. See the famous fence jump from The Great Escape and you will see why.
