roadchick 0 Posted January 25, 2012 I have a set of Excel wheels with dirt tires on them, but want to put a dual sport tire on. What do you recommend? I am pretty sure they are 21 and 19? I have Bridgestones on the super moto wheels. Thanks, Rene
Crawdaddy 96 Posted January 25, 2012 Suggest you join this forum for all things WR250R/X: http://wr250rforum.forumotion.com/ The "X" has 17" front and rear so that limits your choices quite a bit. Pirelli MT21 *may* be available in that size... "IF" they are in fact 21" & 18" - "I" like the Pirelli MT43 on my WR250"R": http://motorcycle.motorcycle-superstore.com/search?w=pirelli%20mt43&WT.ac=RichAutoComplete
tntmo 910 Posted January 25, 2012 I have run Dunlop D606 and Pirelli MT21, both ok. Check out the different ones available and ask around, tire choice is almost like religion or beer, everyone has an opinion and their's is the best. http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=
