Mistress of the dual 1 Posted August 31, 2011 Just installed a new skid plate from Rugged Rider. A little pricier than some other skid plates I've seen but absolutely worth it. It's also designed and made in the USA so I feel extra good about my purchase. Anyone looking for a skid plate or rack for their DRZ should check them out. Fork boots protect the seals, but most important, they protect the fork tubes that can get nicks that destroy the seals. Fork tubes are MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than seals.
