Stewards of the Sierra National Forest Fundraiser

As we've posted, it's been postponed to August 20/21 to give time for the snow to melt and clear the trails. This fundraiser is important to the Stewards and all riders as it generates money to allow the Stewards (all volunteers by the way) to work on keeping our unique trail system open for all motorized users. The new forest plan has closed many of the trails but with dedicated work to correct the mitigation factors, most of the trails can be reopened, hopefully soon. Mitigation can involve archelogical, historic and erosion issues and can be corrected. Your SOTSNF are out in the forest every week clearing the trails. Your support is needed for us to continue this work. You can support us by attending the fundraiser and taking part in the optional self guided dual sport ride which takes place near Bass Lake and Yosemite. Great trails, great scenery and great fun. And a BBQ dinner with prizes donated by our sponsors to round things off Sat. night. Hope to see you there.

Registered and paid....just debating the timing...Rescheduled RIGHT between 2 pre-planned , long riding weekends..... mammoth and a pre-scheduled labor day weekend of riding....might still make it...
