dirt dame 559 Posted April 15, 2011 Well, I am trying to post this far enough in advance, so if nothing else comes up that I have to deal with, I should make it to the staging area by the picnic tree and bathroom between 11 and 11:30. Have been out there twice this week and it had been really nice. The weather is perfect. Thinking I may go again tomorrow. I doubt I'll make the Sunday trip though. Have fun! dirt dame 559 Posted April 16, 2011 directions: Go out I-8 east to Ribbonwood exit (the one just past the Golden Acorn Casino exit). Turn right on Ribbonwood, then left on Old Highway 80, go east till you reach McCain Valley road and turn there(you can only turn left on it). When the pavement ends, it's about another 5 miles to the staging area on your left. You'll see an outhouse, an oak tree and probably a bunch of trucks. We may show up a little early and putz around for a bit - or we may just sleep in and see you 11-11:30. Let me know if you are not gonna make it cause then we will probably head out to the desert.
