    RV hitch/bike mount recommendation.

Thanks for all the input guys! Still in the deciding phase, but getting close to pulling the trigger.
  2. Hello everyone. Been a long time since I've been on here. Work had me going overseas, sold my moto, came back, got into paragliding etc. I have a 24ft RV now and looking for hitch mount hauling options. Hitch is 2 inch, tongue weight is stated at 350lbs. I like the "ultimate mx hauler" the most thus far. For the bike I'm thinking a street legal wr450 or drz400. Any other bikes i should be thinking of? Thanks, hope to get back on the trails with everyone soon.

    Mica Gem Mine Road info

Bikeslut messaged me and said devils canyon is the only way he knows of. I asked him if he wanted to go and he said No! So it must live up to it's name.

It's an honor to serve! Thanks for holding it down here at home. It feels great to be back! One wierd thing.... I couldn't find SDAR in Bahrain by doing a google search, but I had it in my fav's so I was good. Wonder why though? Welcome back, and thank you for your service.

    Mica Gem Mine Road info

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here. I'm back from a year of deployment, have a 07 WR450 and am back making tracks. In my recent travels I came upon Mica Gem Mine Road. I've ridden the area for a few hours and it seems like the logical place to have a trail that drops down to Ocatillo. Any one know if there is a way down? Thanks, DRZrider.

    Escape to Corral?

    sorry. wrong thread.
  8. I might make it. FYI
  9. Sweet, sounds like he is definitely the guy to go with. My WR250 isn't plated Let me know if you have a all dirt ride you want to do. be safe.
  10. Is this a dualsport required ride(street legal)? What is your distance between gas stations? Super interested, but would need to get time off from work first and then get some additional gear together. Sounds like the kind of craziness I am into. You have done this alone before? Chris
  11. Well looks like I am gonna have to work on Sat......... I'm still interested in going to the dunes probably just for sunday though
  12. Thanks for taking the pics, leading, sweeping and general super slut activities. Oh yeah the front fender it was a perfect fit too.
  13. The sand at Superstition is more coarse than at Glamis, et al. Also, when you leave the sand for hardpack ... Something to think about. Lots of good riding out there. Have fun! Thanks for that! So far it's Me, my friend Wes and Spraugh. I might have another couple of friends join in, but there on the fence right now.
  14. The moon is going to be the closest it has been in the last 18 years and full so should be pretty good lighting. I have one friend who is interested in going to superstition on the 19th riding that day and night, camping and then some the next day. Will probably be hitting the sand so a paddle is reccomended and as most know there's a learning curve to sand i.e. if you have trouble on normal stuff sand will be a challenge for you. Anyone interested? If not there then we can always do something closer. Chris
