Sneeker 29 Posted April 4, 2011 I have a ~0.75"x4" aluminum tube, a bearing spacer that sits inside a rear hub, I need 1 millimeter shaved off the outer diameter. Anyone know of a good shop that will do a small job like this in the north county area?
dirt dame 561 Posted April 4, 2011 Seems like for one millimeter off of something aluminum, that you could just mark it with a permanent marker, then scribe in a line and use a hand mill (file) on it.
Covered in Dust 163 Posted April 4, 2011 When do you need it done? I could meet you at my shop and do it on one of the lathes in about 10 minutes for free. Covered in Dust
