Borrego ride, April 3rd

Met up with Chris (cattledog) at the staging area around 9:10. It was quite cold and started to sprinkle over by Santa Ysabel, I was very glad I dressed way warmer than I wanted to originally- pyroing it from Mission Valley.

Dropped down onto Grapevine and took it easy to warm up a bit. Hit Borrego Springs for some lunch then off to Coyote canyon, with some nice water crossings. Back via Yaqui pass and to Julian.

Don't feel like typing a whole bunch so here are just some pictures.

I love camping in Sheep and Cougar Canyons when you get to the flat above Lower Coyote Canyon. I really never thought about trying to bike it since I've driven through that last crossing when it was pretty high. Hmmmm
