I dont know what a backyard buddy is! I am looking for a single post lift. Bend pak makes a 6000lb, and there is one other that is a 7000lb which is probably the one I will get. Ampro and American custom are the other two makers of the single post lift(the prefered ones).

I am building a garage in my backyard. Need to know if anyone has a line/ connection for getting a car lift, and a commercial roll up garage door? Thank you!

So are you saying you want to be back in San Diego Sun night or Mon?
-
but I like the sports that take two balls.
Personal choices should stay just that, personal!

Thats the only way to crash one of those and not trash the fairing!

Destination? Never made it anywhere! It was beautiful wheather for riding today. Started in Ramona, flat at Julien, down to Ocotillo. Just exploring all the way. Would of been nice to hit Canyon Nombre back the Klr's decided to take the easy way home. I bet you guys got wet! After a little sight seeing, I hauled ars back to Ramona just missing the rain. Always nice to see Pyro, Sdland. Good meeting you Joe. Just tell your dad that he put all those scratches on the KlR.

What's the sand situation on this one? Is it doable with an almost bald knobby on the rear and a very heavy hand on the throttle? :blum3:
Cant be any worse than you were just in!

Hey Joe. Can we move the start time to 9:00?
-
I am in. I will meet you at McDonalds at 9:30. Are you riding up or hauling the bike?
-
Sunday would be better for me. I live in Encinitas. What is the terrain we will be on? How long? Degree of difficulty, in case others are on the fence?
-
Hey Joe what day are you thinking about going? Where would you want to meet for this ride?
-
Is anyone going out this weekend? Looking to do some riding this weekend.
-
So who's up for riding this Bradshaw trail ??
When?
-
Roger that looks like a nice bike. I would recommend that you get a good large skid plate, and barkbuster/handguards ASAP. It only takes one time going down and major bad things can happen.

My 93 XR650l "Trigger" has been super reliable, but you do have to take into account my gentle style and mad riding skills!
-
I agree with KIP, the XRl 650 is the best bike ever!

I met Captcham (steve) at the discovery station next to Baldwin lake in Big Bear at about 8:30. Introductions and and a discussion of the plans. Capt said he wanted to explore and picked John Bull trail as his starting point. Off we went. Passed the dump, into the trail and whammy! Flat tire on the rear. Relatively short tube change and inspection as to why. Picked up a nail by the dump. On to John Bull. I have heard of this trail, but never been on it. Quickly turns into technical bolder hill climbs and decents. After Capt getting a taste of DAKAR ON THE ROCKS ( Shaken, not stirred) he decided whe should head for calmer waters. We headed off according to the map. When we got to our return trail, it was closed. Things happen for a reason. We ended up taking some fantastic trails down to Green valley lake. There were some fantastic 3-4' water break/ jumps on this trail. Had a blast all the way down. We hit the 18 and split ways. Capt back up to Big Bear and I down to Crestline. I had always wanted to go check out the glider port. So off I went. When I arrived at the glider port I surveyed a ton of new trails. Off I went. I think I could of gone all the way down into San Bernadino if I had the time. Running out of time and gas I headed back up to my place. I ended up doing 114 miles on the day. Thanks to Captcham for leading the ride. He was a cool guy and prepared. Till next time Capt!
