    I’ve heard that some of these fires were started by an arsonist (that’s what the T.V. says). I’d love to get them in a room alone so I could explain how wrong and evil it is to do that.

    No need for talk! Just shoot them dead, like the one they shot in arrowhead trying to start more fires!

    Hopefully some of you have seen our helicopters flying in water buckets. Lots of red tape we had to go through to get out there but they are out there now. Glad to hear everyone is okay at this time, I'm sure if anyone needs assistance this group will be all over it.

    Nothing has changed since the Cedar fire! Lots of ass kissing but no results! Fn air support sat on ground doing nothing! To windy my ass. Maybe they should train for high winds? That would make to much sense. Just like evacuating 2 days before the fire gets there. Then the police are bitching because they have to spend time watching out for looters! Either let the people protect there own property, or shut up and do what you get paid for! Sorry but I get really tired of all the bullshit. People need help, not a speech every ten minutes by the mayor and politicians praising each other because they can communicate better. Mayor Sanders is worthless!

    Fires came close, but we were able to avoid disaster on several fronts! I hope everyone else is fairing as well!

    I went from the A hole of SDAR to the best ass kisser in less than a month. :friends:

    CardiffChris and I went up yesterday. Beautiful up there. Weather was perfect! Was crowded though. We were not breaking and land speed records so it was easy to avoid accidents. Up there you look around and see all the trails on the other hills and just wish you could stay a week and explore! No problems except Chris decided to leave his helmet in San Diego ;) He had some good Karma as I was able to search through the neighbor hood until I found someone with a spare.

    If it were me I believe there would be a brown skid mark from start to finish. It would look like primitive rock painting!

    (i have a "friend" that likes to "almost push" me off ledges... so far: Green River in Moab, Black Canyon of the Gunnison,and a section of the Virgin River)

    I think we should do a quick review of the definiton of the word Friend.

    Paul- Go to Rockymountainatv.com. I just put the Primary Drive X ring chain on my bike. Awesome chain. Best price! I got a longer chain than needed, and a couple extra masters. That way you can have couple extra links if something happens on the trails. Cheap insurance

    If you replace it with a Husky you will need to have 5 bikes like she does. Thats no solution!

    First where do you live? If you are mechanicallly inclinced you can do it yourself with new springs all around. What is it that you do not like, or are having trouble with?

    I guess the only good place left to ride is from Carlsbad to Mexico for surf trips.

    Now your learning. When are we going. Its not a Dual Sport if your only rideing. :unsure:

    BTW - Nice ride Mike! Looks like you had some great weather. Sometimes I can sneak away for a weekday ride and I hate to see you pass on a trail due to lack of riding partner. Keep me posted too :)

    Next time I will give more notice. It would be nice to do a long morning run, take a break and relax, then do an extended evening into night ride. I had a lot of fun, so hopefully I will be going more often.

    I ended up going last night. Went alone. Got up early this morning had coffee, and off I went. I rode most of Lake Silverwood, all of miller canyon. First photo is a downhill that I decided against going down. Was a very long steep hill on the other side that I wanted to do, just did not know if I could get out without trouble. I stopped where the rock is. A little late im afraid. I had to try and turn around on the decline. It was early and I did not want to ruin the day. That was the only hill up or down that I turned away from. Rode everything forwards and back. The bike was running fantastic. Probably the best day of technical riding I have ever had. I think those new pivoting pegs had alot to do with it.

    Hooked up with a couple as I was coming out of miller canyon. They took me to pinnacles, some single track up to Lake arrowhead. I ate lunch at the lake. Beautiful. Rode the street back to my place to relax for a couple hours during mid day heat. The bike is chilling in the back of the cabin. Early afternoon I went back into miller canyon searching for some roads. Found the Tunnel trail that was supposed to be closed. Wasnt. Did some exploring where the fires where. On the way back I found a tiny trail with a ribbon. Single track some club had marked out. Did it! I wanted to go down to Deep Creek , but did not have time. Did about 80 miles.

    All in all it was fantastic! Wish someone could of gone. Next time it should be and all day ride during the week to avoid people on the trails.

    Bring your bike to my house and we can ride. I need to get out and ride the 500 or the 440 get here early bro and lets rock! I just put out the fire and ate my last somemore!

    Sorry Mallet! The bike is already loaded. It will be trucked somewhere, and it aint Carlsbad. I guess I am headed to the casa grande in the mountains. I will be going up tonight so that I can rest and get an early start. I guess I will be riding by myself. <_<

    255 hits and not a single taker? Is it the green sticker or no one wants to ride with a new rider? Im gonna go up to northern california this weekend and visit family since there isn't any interest in riding.

    I know all the trails trails out in jacumba area like the back of my hand, I just haven't done em on a bike yet. I'll post up again once I've done the trails and am sure I won't hold up the pace... And hopefully I'll have a plated bike that isn't a rolling death trap by then :)

    Ahh man. I was waiting to see what the schedule was like. I was going to work on the bike tomorrow and get it prepped for some dirt. Might have to be a sand flea, or maybe do some arrowhead.
