dirt dame 561 Posted July 23, 2010 I have tried various spray and non spray cleaners. None of them seemed to work very well. I went back to a bit of gasoline to start the cleaning process, then finish with a bucket of hot water and dish detergent. I like to use Bel Ray air filter oil because it sets up so tacky and really resists water well. I recently purchased a couple of No-Toil filters and a little cleaning and oiling kit to go with. Some of the comments about this stuff that I have read here, make me a little uncertain about using these items.....but we shall see.....
