piratemonkey 0 Posted April 27, 2010 I'm about to order a shim kit for the Husky. I'm looking at a set that's 9.48 x 1.20mm - 3.50mm. I know for a fact that my Husky uses 9.50 mm -- is it basically the same diameter? Or is there a difference that makes 9.48 unusable in my bike? I'm new to changing shims so while it sounds like nothing, for all I know it's as different as an inch vs a mile.

piratemonkey 0 Posted April 27, 2010 Like I said, I'm new to shims. Maybe I also need to add that I was a liberal arts major so numbers are shapes, not values. 9 is just 6 upside-down...am I right or am I wrong on that? Anyways, just need an answer on whether or not I can stick a 9.48 shim in my Husky. Something that's measured to two decimal points out sounds serious. Joliet 0 Posted April 28, 2010 The 9.48 shims are fine in your bike.
