SCHWINN 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Went to ECC yesterday to buy the chain tool but 1st talked to the guys in service and they said they would do it for $20.00 and $4.00 for the special link. I let them do it plus I failed to mention to you guys that I had Tig Welded the chain cuz I was in a hurry, I just left the clip off and welded over the nipples. so they had to cut that to. The side plate was on,but instead of the clip holding the side plate on it was welded. Probably a good way to do it if you could keep it cool enough to save the o-rings.
