Better get to Johnson Valley to ride and check it out soon........the Marine Corps Base will be shutting down a big part of it.......sounds like it's a done deal, according to input I've gotten from people who went to the meetings.

They're just going through the motions of having public input meetings. The government/military does whatever it wants.

I want to ride up there soon also !!

Hmmmm.......that sounds like a really good event to go to. Maybe get a SDAR contingent to go up ??

I can't make it up to Johnson Valley. Plus, UncleCameron is coming to town for a week and staying at my house.

We'll probably truck out to Superstition for the day on Sunday.

I am going to try to get the kids out to ocotillo wells, near pole line... they'll like pumpkin patch, etc.

I don't expect you want to go that slow, so have fun wherever you end up...

Yeah it rained last Wenesday, so Thursday Friday and Saturday were great riding conditions. But by Sunday the moisture was all gone.

Well, maybe I'll head south this weekend, then.

I have never rode Johnson Valley and had planned to go this weekend, but I have far too much to get done before Christmas to ride this weekend. Wish I could get out there and show my support. Ken
