Strega 0 Posted September 26, 2008 Sunday is spend time with the girl and checking out Bikeslut's band in the evening. However, SATURDAY, anyone have any green sticker friendly plans?!? Mickey has been bugging me to ride tomorrow, but I've got loads of crap to get done... We did an Ocotillo Wells run last weekend (show up, riding by 6:30am, done by noon) and it wasn't too terribly hot. Okay, by noon it was blazing hot, but we survived. I would like to ride too... ShocknAwe 0 Posted September 27, 2008 Pine Valley Road is off Hwy 8 about 13 miles east of the Alpine exit. If you turn right at the bottom of the exit there is a cul de sac for parking with an adventure pass. You can go straight and park along the shoulder of the exit ramp without an adventure pass. If you turn left and drive about a mile you will hit the town of Pine Valley. The Mountain Market is open at 8am; the pine valley store across from frosty burger is open at 6am. They both sell passes: $5 one day or $30 annual pass. You can also gas up there. How about meeting at the cul de sac at 7:30 am? Now that the southbound trip is postponed, my weekend is more flexible. My knee has been bugging me pretty bad (I have no idea what I did to it this time) so it'll depend on if I feel up to riding dirt tomorrow... What I'm saying is don't wait for us...
