Joliet 0 Posted September 26, 2008 Looks like it might keep your ribs from getting bruised or even save a neck sprain in the right kind of accident. I doubt it would save 1 in 100 from a fatal accident. The impacts are just too great for a blow up vest. On the other hand it would sure be nice to have if you happened to land in the water. Those simulated crashes (jumping from a horse going 5mph into the dirt) are not very realistic. I have crashed harder than that unloading my bike from the trailer. You want to impress me take it down to the crash test track and let one of those 2000" sleds hit it at 40 mph, or crash it into a wall at 35. Ken Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
