dirtrider86 0 Posted July 10, 2008 I'm having my motor put back together and in the mean time I'm tearing down my bike and planning on repainting everything and cleaning it up because I havn't done that for a while. So I have the majority of the electrial off except for one clip on the down tube where the motor oil is stored. I have spent way to much time looking at this clip and can't figure out how to take it off. The clip slides over a little peice of metal and I can't find anything to press to release it. I have tried to tap it lightly with a hammer, slide it off, anything you can can think of I have done. If any of you guys know how to take this thing off It would be GREATLY appreciated. ADV Bum 205 Posted July 10, 2008 At the top of the clip there is a thin piece of metal that needs to be pulled back while lifting the plastic piece off the l bracket. I just went out and looked/ removed one. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
