Zubb 1081 Posted March 9, 2020 well there you have it. The full extent of my Spanglish. The subject came up under a separate thread of how to deal with the dreaded Montezuma's Revenge. @Vanwas kind enough to remind me of the following... "ciprofloxacin, which may be a prescription. There is also Travelan, OTC, which is a preventative. Florastor is a probiotic which is also supposed to help prevent a visit from Montezuma." My question for the Baja regulars here is - do you keep/carry any of the above for your own benefit or those fellow riders who "drink the water". I can think of few things worse than being 500 miles south of here after a long night of margaritas on ice (doh!) wadded up like a sweaty rag tossed under an Ocotillo with 2 scorpions and a rattlesnake, sans-pantalones, speaking in tongues to the Holy Ghost for mercy that only Salvation or Sudden Death can bring. Hey. Don't laugh. If you've ever had it you know exactly what I'm talking about. So . . . do you Baja regulars keep a little medical magic in the bag when you go south?
