Guest Hammerin Hammon Posted January 31, 2008 Travis Pastrana showed up on a stock Suzuki DR-Z400 with a Yoshi pipe and a desert tank and came within 120 miles of Ironmanning the thing. But a silt clogged air filter stopped him. He was running in the top 15 overall when the bike couldn't go on. Asked why, as if Travis ever concerns himself with the why of what he does, he said (I did it because Greg Godfrey and I wanted to see who was tougher) and the best way was to Ironman the Baja 1000. If I were you, I would keep the DR-Z 400's guys and galls. Craig.

piratemonkey 0 Posted April 5, 2008 Just saw this post. Very cool. I'm definitely planning on keeping the DRZ even though I picked up the Husky. The DRZ has been such a trooper, especially for a bike that's gotten marginal maintenance over the past four years.
