Afry 1 Posted October 31, 2015 CALVMX is hosting flat track in Campo at Camp Lockett with vintage, modern and knobby classes Saturday and Sunday. Be there before 9 to race, practice at 10:15 and I'm guessing races will start between 12 and 1 after track prep. Great time to bring out your knobby bike and expand your skills. It's a small track (1/10th mile?) So great place to learn with lower speeds. If you stop by say hi (#45E) I'll be there Saturday for sure and maybe Sunday to This will make 3 races in 4 weekends for me so Sunday should be yard work day but ... Afry 1 Posted November 1, 2015 Bring knobbies, the track really sucked for flat trackers. I left after my first heat race and I wasn't the only one. Track was either a dry slick dust bowl or a mud bog. The promoter is trying but out of his element (a vintage mx group).
