I rode out there today with some guys my uncle hooked me up with. I was surprised how much better I did. We did most of the same stuff we did last weekend, except we did part of Ranger. I am now a 100% believer in Rekluse.

@bikeslut, my new Klim Mojave fully vented jersey was WAY better than my jacket. I picked up some elbow guards just in case, because unlike you, a broken arm is NOT better than heat stroke.

I wear elbow pads...its the torso protection I eschew. I get too hot, too fast. It's a big weakness of my riding; well, that and balance...and lack of speed...and no endurance...other than that, I am mediocre.
