Ken S 164 Posted January 4, 2015 First ride of the year. Hooked up with Devimau and my friend Jim to ride Corral about 1pm. Beautiful weather and about 60 out. The north facing slopes are a mixture of nice soft snow to ice sheets to mud that's more like snot. The south and west slopes are perfect moisture in the sunny spots, lots of ice in the shade. Large puddles everywhere. FUN. My golden tire front hooked up good everywhere. My Maxis desert IT rear, not so much. Had my first head-on going south on trail 1. I was going down a solid ice hill as a Husqaberg came around the corner. I don't think he saw me till me smacked grips. I did all I could to stuff my bike into the brush (Hard to do anything on ice going down hill) or it might have been bad. Got it on my new Go Pro. Need my teenager to show me how to upload it. Fun ride. Be careful on the ice and take it a little slower than normal tomorrow guys.
