I'll try to pick one up next Wednesday... it's our most recent demo, and, although we're not totally happy with it, it's ok. we now have our own recording studio, so our next cd won't be controlled by how much we want to spend, only by how much time we're willing to invest... the cd will be no charge, and i expect it will be worth every penny the liner notes on the demo were written by our keyboard player, and were not "approved" by the rest of us, so excuse the cornball style... like, he titled the album "First Licks Are Best" , because it was all "one take" recording, except for vocal overdubs... As much as I appreciate it, the people on this site wouldn't have to pay me for something that costs me nothing. That goes for gas, parts, sweat, etc. The demo is done, and they cost next to nothing to make... we make the demo to find more venues to play... If you are interested in getting the cd, it's yours. I do appreciate people coming out to see the shows, though... some of the people in the band need the money, as music is their livelihood... That's why I don't comp everybody to the gigs. Support local music! For anybody that is on the fence about this gig- It is actually a very good show (albeit LOUD) We bring in extra lights, fog, and hire our own sound guy. We rent a generator so that we don't trip the house power, and we always sell out the house. If enough people go from SDAR, I will wear a jersey on stage and represent! Kevin 0 Posted October 18, 2007 I have a friend that also plays in a band. They are playing every Sunday Night this month at the new Santa Ysabel Casino at 8pm.
