Meanwhile down under..... Smith Bros pull a 1-2 for Honda after 4 years of KTM wins.

I always pay attention to this event it's the Baja 1000 of Australia, a real super tought fast desert race. Many of the best Oz offroaders ahow up for this one. Good to see Ben "Grabbo" Grabham back on the grid after his horrendous severe injury crash (150kph into a Kangaroo) only last year, that guy is tough (and maybe a little crazy as well).

Interesting going through the history of the Finke, while the Kaw KX500s were dominating our National Hare Hounds and big Baja races throughout the 1990s the Oz folks were using mostly Hon CR500s to win their Finke Dez races all the way into the early 2000s.
