This past Sunday - Pinyon.

You have to fast forward to find Heart Attack, Fairchild and the other ups and downs.

Ups and Downs -

Nicely done.

A little step up -

Boring stuff here, but it gave me some reverse time, thinking back to the sport bike days riding all over S.D. county.

Slab formation -

Great weather. Had a hiccup with a snapped chain about 2 hours into things, but with a group effort of our three brains, spare parts, tools and a rock or two, we got a chain put back together allowing us to ride out another 2 hours.

Ended up seeing the Ocotillo ride group () along the way in the canyon. Thanks for the spare chain link. Turns out our fix held up and we did not need the extra parts. But your kindness is duly noted. We ended up taking the long way out coming out by the quarry and then slabbing it to Ocotillo Wells and back up to the S2. I hit my reserve tank about 1 mile from the truck. 70 miles on the day.

Again, the weather was great.
