Sunday Ride 7/22

Chickenheart and I just threw the idea out this afternoon about running around Otay Mt tomorrow morning. The west side has a few hours worth of riding on it and stays reasonably cool. We're just gonna kick around for the morning if anybody's interested in a reasonably easy ride with great views of San Diego and Tijuana.

We're meeting at Chicken's house in PB at 8AM and riding toward Otay Mesa from there. I'd say we'll be at the foot of the mountain by 9.

Anybody wanna join us?

no problem anytime! so honda and i will meet at my place at 8AM and moto out to Thousand Trails Campground that works for me. just got my gps mount and wanna try to lay some tracks

I'm in.....the gal pal is out of town and the kids are all doing their own thing tomorrow........so what else am I gonna do, clean the garage? pay bills? Flea dip the dogs? .......think I'll go for a morning ride instead

I've never been down that way so I'm not sure where I'm going but I'll look for you at 9am at Thousand Trails - Blue Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up......from Ramona I guess I should go 67/8/125/54/Telegraph Rd? (please correct me if there's a better way).....see ya at 9am

4: Take the exit toward I-8 E / EL CENTRO / EL CAJON. 0.4 miles Map

5: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto N MAGNOLIA AVE. 0.5 miles Map

6: Turn LEFT onto E MAIN ST. 0.2 miles Map

7: Turn RIGHT onto AVOCADO AVE. 1.6 miles Map

8: AVOCADO AVE becomes AVOCADO BLVD. 1.8 miles Map

9: AVOCADO BLVD becomes CALAVO DR. 0.1 miles Map

10: Merge onto CAMPO RD / CA-94 E via the ramp on the LEFT toward CAMPO. 1.5 miles Map

11: Turn RIGHT onto CAMPO RD / CA-94. 9.7 miles Map

12: Turn RIGHT onto OTAY LAKES RD. <0.1 miles Map
