Uncle Champ 116 Posted September 27, 2012 One of my workability students brought in his bike to attempt a repair. Symptoms were kickstarter would not spin the motor and when in gear with clutch in or out it would not roll, the curious thing was he told me he took out all the "clutch ring things" and then it would turn over. So we took them out again, to no avail, we took off the other side cover and tried to move the motor with a big wrench. Locked up, I made a call and found out the common thing is rod breakage, sounds fatal and it is time he got a bigger bike anyway. When I drew a picture and explained what a rod was he said he will tell his Dad, anybody interested in a fairly clean 85cc that needs a smidgen of work? I know nothing about title or details yet.
