KLXBEN 0 Posted October 29, 2011 I was browsing Chapperal Racing and noticed this tire on sale. Seems like a good deal. Anybody have any experience with this tire? http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Product/bridgestone-ed04-dot-approved-rear-tire/330-0567.aspx Planning ahead for some new rubber for the dash. bikeslut 1 Posted October 29, 2011 no experience with that tire, but the tread pattern looks good for sand... price is good too, for a DOT tire
dirt dame 561 Posted October 29, 2011 I have run that tire before, and the front one too. Very short knobs, lousy in the dirt. Is really great handling on the street. I would not run them again. I like these better. Great compound, longer knobs. I am running the 4.00 on my KDX and have the the 4.50 to run on my TE450 http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/29/393/19574/ITEM/IRC-TR8-Battle-Rally-Rear-Tire.aspx
SteelRain 0 Posted October 29, 2011 For about $10 less you can get Kenda Parker from Cycle Parts West (El Cajon). DOT Approved I love them for Desert, Mountain, and swamp riding (I was on the East Coast and riding areas are limited) ... and Kenda is a US company.
