KTMrad 512 Posted May 2, 2011 Left about 11am, headed out 94 to Lyons Valley to Japatul Valley towards Pine Valley, then up 79 thru Cuymaca, then to Julian for lunch. Saw Dirtdame ride by on her green machine, so found her at her favorite lunch place and stopped to say hi. Then Wynola to Banner Grade down to Yaqui Pass. Got stuck behind an elder in a cadillac, and a Ranger in a Jeep. After we turned on Yaqui Pass, the ranger waved me by. Off to Borrego Springs and Christmas Circle for a cool beverage. Then up Montezuma Grade mixing it up with a group of 6 sportbikes. Hit the rev limiter at 7 grand multiple times goin' up the grade. Then to the Hideout for a cold one. Ran into a couple of guys I know from work on their Harleys. Then Mesa Grande to 79 to 78 to Old Julian Hwy. to Wildcat Canyon and home.
