Bagstr 288 Posted April 3, 2011 It was going to be Too Hot, Too Windy, Surprisingly it Worked Out. Met Beezzz and Co on last leg of loop. To top it off, N2TM who was to have departed because of heat, was waiting for Captcham and I at the trucks. Surprised it turned out so well.

shift 0 Posted April 3, 2011 nice report, looks like another good ride. i dig this helmet. anyone that owns one care to comment on it? actually, that whole picture, background and all is pretty cool too.
Bagstr 288 Posted April 3, 2011 " triangulate" I hereby open this thread to triangulation. Arai = Great function. The face shield is da bomb in wind or road. Although; Arai and Shoei fit differently. Try them on before purchase.
Papa Smurf 0 Posted April 3, 2011 Nice pics. Question about the Aria helmet- how is it at freeway speeds(80+ mph). I rapped the throttle with a regular dirt helmet on and the visor caught air, pulled the helmet up and broke the visor (last speed I saw was 97mph).
Bagstr 288 Posted April 3, 2011 The visor is removable for freeway blasts, nylon screws. The Shoei has a short visor, but have not tested it. Neither the of these adventure helmets are a good choice for road based riding. but hey, they look good!
Yeti 0 Posted April 3, 2011 " triangulate" I hereby open this thread to triangulation. Arai = Great function. The face shield is da bomb in wind or road. Although; Arai and Shoei fit differently. Try them on before purchase. Thing I like about the Arai is you can adjust the angle of the visor which is essential for making it comfortable on the freeway. Shoei you can't adjust the visor. Bagstr, looks like a great ride I gotta get out on a big bike ride with you.
