Nope, Arnie relocated it.......

I rode the 620 thumper on pavement from Sedona to San Diego in one day.........~500 miles.........I've put big slab miles on the 500 and 350 in AZ/Utah/Baja...........it can be done, but I've talked my wife into believing each bike has a special purpose - 350 for rocky crap and single track, 500 for longer dualsport explorations, and 950SE for big/easy trips with baggage and lot's of open dirt/paved road..........so don't blow my multi bike alibi .... Covered in Excuses

I'll just bring him along ........with his gadgets/rope/pulleys .......

We'll see.......treks involving long stretches of major dirt road (ideally) or pavement was a motivating factor in buying the 950SE........that said, I've only ridden it around the neighborhood so far! Hope to get out and stretch it's legs in the coming months...... I try avoid boring dirt roads and pavement to the greatest extent possible on the 350/500.......long/sustained cruising at ~60mph+ can't be good for those single cylinder engines......and they're just not that comfortable for "cruising"

I’ll let you know once I get some miles on them 😁......I really haven’t had an opportunity to get out and ride.....electrical gremlins seem to be pretty well sorted and suspension is done.....I picked the bike up from George last Friday.......Rekluse & Rottweiler set ups should arrive for install next week......hopefully I’ll get some miles on those tires in April 🤞

These tires were stooooopid expensive but figured I'd give them a shot based on my love for the Golden Fatty on my 500 I have the 723R up front and the 723S in the rear.....I doubt any tire will last long on the rear of the 950SE........we'll see, I'll report back after a thousand or so miles..... Thanks again for the well wishes and to those of you that made it up to Julian last Saturday.........it was a fun party and also nice to get all the kids together again......it's a rare occasion when I can corral them all into one location.......

Ha! That said, I DID order a Rekluse........hope to have it next week........this bike is BIG/HEAVY.......slow going and/or knarlier than preferred sections should be MUCH easier with the cheater Rekluse clutch so I don't chunk it and fall over (as often )........

Ordered an InReach through Costco $289.........should have it next week.........all I need to do now is.........RIDE!

George transformed the riding experience on my 500.........just do it. Likewise, picked the 950SE up from George last Friday.........anxious to get out and RIDE!

I had the MT21s on my 620 ADV Pig........the back tire was ok and the front tire was pretty lousy (IMHO).......the front was rock hard and cupped horribly........poor feel/handling.......my $02

Costco looks like the ticket based on the pricing I see elsewhere.....do you mount it on your bars? Figured I'd blow off the powered cradle and just carry it in a pocket like the Spot since I'm not using it to navigate.......less clutter on the bars......

I obviously didn't look close enough........NOW I see they're 12" diameter

Well, being that you two are my riding partners, that's added incentive to look into Inreach.......should be an easy expense to slip past Lisa........"Honey, it's all about safety!"

Thanks Bags, but those look too street biased for my intended purpose........hoping to use this bike ~30% on-road and ~70% off-road (think Baja).........so I'm leaning toward more aggressive tread patterns at the expense of tire life, smoothness, road noise/handling.......at ~$80/tire I'll just keep slipping on the Kenda Big Blocks if the rear Golden fades out in a hurry......hopefully I'll get a few K out of the front
