Just heard last nights prediction by Rigger was premature.....Rigger’s house survived fire!

Rigger is ok (physically) but he lost his home/possessions....hopefully we can collectively coordinate some sort of effort(s) to help him and his father recover.

Monday's blow.......getting back into work mode........Tuesdays are generally free and easy (for me).......Wednesday is getting over the mid week hump.....by Thursday I'm prepping for where I'll be riding on the weekend..... It's Tuesday.......I'll be throwing a couple of cans of brew in my flight vest tonight (along with a frozen water bottle to keep'em cold) and rolling out into the Pamo Valley, Santa Isabel TT to Black Mtn TT......any/all are welcome to join me.......I'll "roll" by Packard's at ~7pm on my way out........I'll be at the lookout spot by ~7:30 (latest)............sunset is at 7:51 tonight.....roll out with me or roll out and find me.....and bring your own beer Note: I don't generally bother to ride all the way up Black Mtn TT to the top. There's a nice view point about a mile (?) short of the top where the trail bends around a corner to the right.....nice/direct view to the west......same spot the pic below was snapped at........(my bike is pointing downhill) Go to this thread on ADVRider for a set of GPS tracks: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=394621 Track 01 will lead you out from Packard's - 7th St. to Elm (right) to Haverford (right). Haverford seamlessly transitions into Pamo. Pamo will run you out to Santa Ysabel TT (right). You'll climb up the hill to a "Y" intersection where you'll stay LEFT to get onto Black Mtn TT (as opposed to continuing to follow Track 01 which heads right on a traverse across Santa Ysabel TT over to Black Canyon Bridge)

We’ll hit the trails once all this BS is over Jim.....I’m risk adverse right now......the last place I want to visit is an Urgent Care center......spending most of my time isolated with wife/dogs and/or riding the street cruiser & driving the RZR

LB/Mike, you have me thinking very seriously about snagging a used phone......

$25 well spent........cheaper/lighter than a center stand......and less than one 1lb (newer aluminum model)......throw it in the saddle bag and hopefully leave it there......I've ridden in many palces where rocks weren't plentiful and I'd rather NOT try to dismount/remount the front/rear wheel with the bike on it's side..... http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380877

Nothing formal beyond recommendations to Practice common sense social distancing......many restaurants are take out only.........Mohave county doesn’t have any reported cases (yet).......formal shelter in place orders in bigger counties to the south ( Phoenix, etc). Working from home is so last week...this week it’s all about being newly retired and trail riding near home.....or, in this case, across the river on some sweet single track....completely socially acceptable.....not another soul out here 😏😎👍

Bullhead City for us....CID is in Havasu.... Met with ~40+ BBTR riders over at the AVI yesterday....they came across Mohave Rd. from Barstow and are headed back today. Tomorrow will be my first non holiday “work free” Monday in ~40yrs....I think I’ll go for a ride 🤔😏😎

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes yesterday.....just wrapping things up at the office today/tomorrow then it’ll be time to hit the trail(s).....

Sorry to have missed The Dash. We were busy moving 97.34% of our possessions to the river house last week. (Thanks for use of the box trailer LB!). All the bikes are now together again along with the RZR......Ramona house goes on the market in a few weeks after new flooring/deep clean......only things in it now are one bed, one couch, a TV, and a couple of dogs. Moving Lisa and the dogs to the river full time in 2 weeks......I’ll follow at the end of March.

Picked up an acoustic guitar Monday.....a retirement gift from a friend ( some learn languages in retirement, some learn music too).....then I made the mistake of going on Amazon this morning..... this could become an expensive hobby.....and I can only play 2 cords (so far).....but wait a minute, a KTM orange affinity series ( beginners) Stratocaster?!?!.....yes please!!! Bought it and a small amp with ORANGE strap & ORANGE...power cord....more ORANGE for the shop.😳🎸🤣🎸😎
