The new amp is amazing, It's is the fullest sounding amp I ever played through. I have a decent collection of amps. My old favorite as the Freedman JJ (20Watt tube amp) this is simply another level. My neighbors have been listening to my hacked playing of Fu Manchu, Kyuss, Kadavar etc. lol full volume too,, no attenuator. I should have worn ear plugs, my ears are still ringing a bit For those who do not know and want to get an idea, a 20W tube amp is roughly as loud as a 100W solid state amp. A guitar speaker plays a short frequency spectrum, so the efficiency of the speakers is crazy, like 102dB, a normal home/car speaker is roughly 88dB So in comparison, 1W in a guitar speaker is approx 5x's louder than 1W in a car/home speaker. A 20W tube amp is loud enough to play in a small room with a drummer unless he is very heavy handed. a 30W is more than enough, a 100W tube can drown out a drum set so they run monitors to amplify the drums etc...

I am a hack but I love paying, I'm a bit of a gear collector. I mainly play stoner rock/doom metal I like the slow heavy fuzz stuff. However I really like blues, I never keep up with current artists on mainstream music. I did come across Markus King who apparently is a monster at guitar. I literally just came across him 2 weeks ago. Today I bit the bullet and bought his custom Orange MK Ultra amp head. This seems like it should turn into a collector piece for sure (hand wired in America and they only made 1500 units) Orange is made in England or the lower end stuff in China, This one is apparently the only one made in America. No circuit board, point to point wiring It shows up Saturday and I'm super excited. So while I wait, just checking if anyone else plays and/or and any experience with that amp?

That's awesome, Those Ampegs are gold. You need to find a guitar with a wider nut like a jackson type

Let me know when the next ride is, looks like a fun day Great fix on @Hawkins bike -
I tried the starbucks coffee bladder. It works however just for a day or two. The fuel separated the liner so you get a bag within a bag. by my 3rd time using it, it would not pour out. I needed to stab the (now internal bag) to get the fuel out.

I bet, it's been closed since Jan, part o the road collapsed and when they inspected it, they was some huge voids under another section

I use this website when I was gearing for Grand Prix racing and now for my supermoto setup on my 300. They have a database of your bike's transmission ratio, and enter your wheel/tire size, then you can see what gearing changes would work https://www.gearingcommander.com/

Oh yeah, that's one way to get the helmet off lol I was ground transported. Bumpy painful ride. Yeah the delay would have been quit a bit longer for sure

Yeah, sorry I kinda hijacked the threat. The helmet emergency brought back a significant memory

It was a decent one I was doing the TAT, we were in Colorado in the middle of nowhere. My bike at the time (wr250r) was overloaded and the lack poor quality rebound control of the rear shock was a bad combination. We were going down a gravel road and the bike got into a nasty wobble. We’re we’re pretty high elevation at I did not have enough motor to accelerate out of it. My GPS was recording our track which is how I know what speed I got tossed off at. anyways there was no cell service, we had a spot on us but luckily a ranger happen to see the dust bomb when I went down and drove over. She called in and said an ambulance was 2 hrs away. That’s when I said screw it and set my shoulder laying there. From riding MX tracks I’ve helped set a few shoulders so knowing just how tight the injured shoulder would be after 2 hrs and I had adrenaline pumping through me, so I figured might as well. I spent a couple days in the hospital until my O2 levels stabilized. I also fought with them because they wanted to remove my spleen. So luckily the internal bleeding stopped and I got to keep it. We had an RV so I rode home in that. The hospital was in Gunnison Colorado. I was back on my street bike 10 days after that because I already paid for a chuckwalla track day. It hurt lots and I remember in a turn my shoulder popped out then it went back in on the straight. @Rjg967 was with me that day. I’m an extremely stubborn person. Smart?? Probably not so much lol

I have a shoei and an Arai helmet. Both have emergency tabs you pull and the side padding comes out, so helmet removal for emt’s is easier. After I had my big get off and highsided at 65 (according to my gps). I broke quite a few bones, dislocated shoulder, ruptured spleen, punctured lung and the helmet was cracked and it hit the bridge of my nose splitting it wide open. You could see the cartilage very clear. The inside of my helmet had a good amount of blood in it. I had to wait 2 hrs for emts to show up due to the location. I took my own helmet off and refused to let them cut my jacket boots and pants off. If I was not so stubborn the helmet removal tabs would have been super easy. I was running an ICON helmet. I made the move the shoei and Arai after that for that exact reason

My ride group has been looking for something like this. I will have to do a little more research on these. I hope they come out with that button soon
