My 2015 was dyno'd just a hair over 63HP at the wheel. Gets expensive to ride and run crazy hot if you aren't getting good airflow. That with oversized radiator, HP cap engine ice and hi-flow water pump but man it pull away hard

I barely ride dual sport and when I do, it's with very mellow friends who think the top of black canyon is pretty hard? So I have no other comparison? But I am tired of the same few truck trails I know about. I have a 05 KTM 450 exc

Bummed I missed it. I spend Saturday changing both tires, rejetting, replacing bad seals etc... Bike was all done, then at 11 pm I got a text from an old friend asking if I wanted to ride MX instead, so chose that. All set for next trip

Looks pretty good for me, in town changing tires on the car, need to stop off and grap a sparkplug for the bike and change the netting. My exc is running rich, with this temp it will be really low on power

I ordered the regular one with the orange housing, it showed up yesterday and I kind of don't want to open it because I have having thoughts on the pro as well. The buddy tracking is not very far, I spoke to a support tech about this and it's 1.5mi line of sight. So mounts, hills etc will have a drastic reduction in the range. One thing I like about the pro is the blue tooth but that's a lot of extra money for blue tooth and color. Maybe its overkill for what I need it for and that's just to follow a line

My KTM is almost ready. Got my plate, my taillight/brake and switch are coming. I am off for a race this weekend so my prep has been on my other bike.

Cool, got all back fees paid last week and spark arrestor is in excellent condition. Now I need to get work to lighten up a bit so I can go for a few days.

Is a plate required or is a green sticker allowed?

Oh man, this looks epic. I am not sure my bike would be ready that soon. I picked up an older KTM 450 exc that was never plated and has not been registered in 10 years. I am trying to get everything squared away asap.

As the title says. Also a green sticker place would be preferred. I've been to Ocotillo a baJillion times, so I am more than burnt out on that place for a while. My KTM is not plated yet. So with rain this week and Saturday I am looking for a Sunday ride to take 2 newer riders. I have no experience in areas off the 8. So, Lark, McCain etc? Any info would be much appreciated. TIA

Awesome, sounds like the place to go, he ended up flaking, so next weekend I believe he can go. I'e been checking out YouTube videos on that place. Looks fun.

Well I sold my YZ450 and picked up a barn find. 2005 KTam 450 exc. It has 2200 mi. All stock that' been kept in storage. Going to strip it down grease and inspect it should be a few weeks and looking forward to getting out

I just signed up, today is the last day for online registration but you can sign up the day of as well. I loving doing GP races and this is a D37 Big 6 event. Tons of fun and low pressure.
