Awesome story! Some of the best rides I've been on just happen to be whenever someone gets a flat, breaks down or we get lost....uhh I mean temporarily disoriented. Pics would definitely be icing on the cake.

Went out to McCain last week on Friday, got a little wet but that's a small price to pay for some great riding conditions. We got out there about 9am rode till 1pm..it was sprinkling/drizzle most of the time. As soon as we left the sun started coming out and the rain pretty much stopped. Oh well. This is what the horizon looked like the evening before. Pic was taken looking west from Jacumba. Got to make some fresh tracks. And here's the pain...

350thumper and bp619 sorry i couldn't make it on time to my own ride...sounds like that didn't slow you guys down at all. I was able to go out Saturday morning, rode down to the border southeast of the prison. Saw a group of 3 bikes and a big bike off in the distance. 350, where's this factory?

I'll be at Pio Pico this weekend and looking to do some riding/exploring. Intermediate rider and have free time Friday or Saturday morning. Welcomed to tag along or take the tour-guide/leader role.
