I have a 5 minute job to do right next to Indian Truck Trail trailhead and the rest of the day off. Taking my bike. Looks very scenic. Fire tower way up on the mountains. Has anyone here ever ridden there? Or want to ride, I'll be there about 10am Tuesday 11/11 Kenny

One of the more fun days of riding I've had. Rode Jacumba all morning with the guys. Prime rib lunch at Golden Acorn. Jim and I hit Corral Canyon for another 2.5 hours on the way home. I'll sleep good tonight.

Been searching for the best front tire. Just ordered the GT216AA. $150 shipped. For me the Maxxis Desert IT is my favorite rear tire I've used so far. My RMZ 450 eats mx51's and 52's in 4 or 5 rides. I have 6 rides on the maxxis and it's still in good shape and hooks up well.

Still on the Suzuki. They want $4500 out of pocket to trade in my 2014 for a 2015. I'll pass on that one.

Shell station at the top of Tavern Road in Alpine has the passes. You guys have fun, the kids and I all have the flu. Its a shitty deal.

Looking to trade in my rmz450 this week. The KTM 450 and 500 xcw are the same bike-weight-engine except the piston and cylinder. Price difference is only a couple hundred bucks. I've read and heard the power of the 500 is awesome, maybe to excess. The 450 a little more controllable. I'm a low intermediate level rider who mostly rides single and double track. Which would you buy and why? Thanks, Kenny

I am a glazing contractor, but I only do Commercial work. I refer all my clients to Picture Perfect windows for work on their homes. I rode with broken ribs and collar bone. I kept re-braking them though and made healing take a long time. Take a couple weeks off and heal up Ty.

And that's what Ty is learning to ride on? Cool. He'll be passing me on my RMZ 450 soon. Time for me to do some engine mods soon.

Going to be an awesome weekend. Catching a boat to go slaughter some tuna tonight. Then ride Sunday. LIFE IS GOOD.
