  1. Good times. Great weather. No crowds. No crashes by me. Only one for jim when he hit me from behind at the bottom of San Dam going about 30 and I was stopped. DORK. Jury is still out on his ankle- sprained or broken? Sand last week was wet and firm, this week no signs of rain. Maybe next week. I've gone from can't ride sand to love it in the last month after making some setup changes on my RMZ450.Its like a different bike now. Rode from 8am till sunset.
  2. Sure. Meet at Carls Jr in Alpine 6:45. I'm puling my trailer with 2 bikes and you can ride with us. Call me if you want to go with us. Kenny 619-922-4554
  3. Sand dunes, Rocks, Wide open flat out desert, Lots of different terrain. The sand should be moist like it was last week (which was awesome). Intermediate riders and pace. Meet at the gas station at the 2nd exit at the bottom of the hill at 8 am. Then we'll decide where to park together. Been riding from Plaster City the last few weeks and riding over but probably park at Superstition this week to dedicate all our fuel on the wet sand. Bring enough gas to ride 4-6 hours. Kenny
  4. No. In Alpine. I don't have a paddle mounted on my bike or i'd do glamis with you.
  5. Probably do Glamis Christmas weekend. I'm very new to riding dunes on 2 wheels and Superstition is a good learning spot for me. That and lots of other terrain to play on.
  6. Great riding for sure. 70 degrees, no wind, no crowds , no crashes. Perfect sand and soil.

    desert loop mon.

Just got back. 70 degrees, No wind, Sand is still damp 4-6 inches down. You guys have fun. Can't go with but somebody's (me) gotta work.
  8. Meet at the plant. Kickstands up 9am. Fast washes, dirt sand mixed to Superstion. Small sand-rock mixed dunes. Lots of varied terrain. Intermediate pace. Have at least 50 mile fuel capacity or pack some in your back pack. Kenny
  9. I'll ride down there with you if no one else replies but have to delete the slab. I'm not plated. Consider painted gorge thru plaster city to superstition. Rocks, washes, whoops, small sand dunes. Kenny
  10. Thanks. Some of us had to work today. Glad you girls had fun.

Don't need to spend 10K on a KTM. Got the Suzuki dialed in now. Maybe a little to much. BTW the RC car does 0-60 in about 30 feet. I lost.

Just did some mods to my RMZ450. Not sure how much HP it added. Drag race with the neighbors RC Car and I went over backwards on the pavement in 2nd gear. Been dizzy for 20 minutes and the whole body hurts. But the power commander works as promised. Why me?
  13. So how are the Chinese radiators. One of mine has a huge rock dent and I need more cooling ability on my RMZ450.
  14. Love it. Find a POS 500 2 stroke and a bad ass back tire and get out of the way.
  15. Same spot same time as bike slut took us last week. Dirt, rocks , a little sand, hill climbs, mines to explore. Much faster terrain to ride than our usual stuff. Intermediate pace. Going exploring the area more and for longer than the slut showed us last week. It'll be fun. Kenny
  16. Ok. WFO on my RMZ. Where you thinking? Plaster city. I'll have to change sprockets to get some top end. I'm redlined at 69 mph.
  17. Great ride with Jim, Jim, and Darren. Windy and on the cold side. Rode stage coach right off the bat. Then a dirt rode heading west that turned to rock then sand then single track. Good stuff. Climbed red hill. Up to smugglers cave. Did some exploring. Followed Darren on his new to him big bore Husky WFO up the sand washes to downtown Jacumba for sandwiches. I'll sleep good tonight. Kenny
  18. I have to work but will be thinking of you. FYI Very windy at Jacumba today. Tomorrows supposed to be worse. I'd stick to Corral Canyon. Bob, you missed a good one today.
  19. See you there. Exit 77 at the info board on the south side of the freeway. Ready to ride at 8am Kenny
  20. I live in Alpine but I'll have 2 or 3 bikes on my trailer. The jeep wont pull more than that. We can meet at the park (I don't know where that is) or the info sign right next to the Incopah exit where we parked last week. Seems like a good spot to refuel since my riding buddies only have stock 2 gallon tanks and I'm down to ride most of the day with the cooler weather. Are you in Alpine now? Saw a guy trying to start an older Husky on Victoria a couple days ago.
  21. Yes. All that. Only been there once. Come show me around Darren.

    Another training viddy from OZ

Love it. Now I have some scientific reasons for spending time laying on the ground.

    Golden tire Gt216AA

My only issue was it hooked up on the sides of ruts and wanted to climb out but I figured that out quick , just steer it where you want and it goes there.
