  1. Maybe that's where I blew out my fork seal. It's at George's now and will be ready for Sunday.
  2. Awesome time. 5 bikes Blake Ty Darren Jim and Myself. Some thrills and spills (not me today). Some stuck in the sand bikes. Got some awesome Go Pro footage once I figure out how to edit it.
  3. Should make for good races up Sand Dam Jim - CRF450 Darren - Husky 610 Blake - KTM 500 Me - RMZ 450
  4. Blake wheeler Rd turn left-west. Its a wide dirt road. Head in probably 3 miles. It turns right towards the dunes. The is an info board with maps on it. Its the only sign around. I'll be there about 8:30. You know my jeep. See you there .Kenny You have my phone number. Verizon works down there if you cant find us.
  5. Who wants to go ride sand dunes? Gordons, Glamis , Superstition? Sat or Sunday. I can only do a day trip (wife says so). I'm on a RMZ 450. I have an extra 19 in paddle tire if you want to use it. Intermediate pace. Usually ride 5-6 hours with lots of breaks. Carpool if you want. I have a slow ass Jeep and a trailer or you drive and I'll buy the gas. Kenny
  6. Will be at Superstition about 8:30. Green dodge truck, yellow RMZ450, White RZR.

    1 Day Suspension Tuning

My 2014 RMZ450 is like a different machine since George did his magic with it. Best money I've spent on it by far.
  8. Like Like Like. Lets go to Glamis. PM me if you want to go. I'm down for any weekend. Kenny
  9. Sounds good Darren. I'm trying to ride desert every week for the next 2 months. No better way to get over my issues with sand then to ride sand a lot.
  10. First ride of the year. Hooked up with Devimau and my friend Jim to ride Corral about 1pm. Beautiful weather and about 60 out. The north facing slopes are a mixture of nice soft snow to ice sheets to mud that's more like snot. The south and west slopes are perfect moisture in the sunny spots, lots of ice in the shade. Large puddles everywhere. FUN. My golden tire front hooked up good everywhere. My Maxis desert IT rear, not so much. Had my first head-on going south on trail 1. I was going down a solid ice hill as a Husqaberg came around the corner. I don't think he saw me till me smacked grips. I did all I could to stuff my bike into the brush (Hard to do anything on ice going down hill) or it might have been bad. Got it on my new Go Pro. Need my teenager to show me how to upload it. Fun ride. Be careful on the ice and take it a little slower than normal tomorrow guys.
  11. Probably be 2020 before I figure it out. Good thing I have a teenager for stuff like that.
  12. It was an awesome ride for sure. Chad, Jim and I were all on 450's. No spills for me today. We rode a good 5+ hours.
  13. Nice. It was an awesome day in the desert. We were ripping up Superstition all day.
  14. Yes got it for xmas. No haven't figured it out, no time, just got home from superstition.
  15. Meet at the crossroads about 12;30- 12;40 then. I'm trucking in to corral. 619-922-4554
  16. I'll be up there about 12:30. Yellow RMZ450. Park at the start of the dirt and ride in. Kenny

    Help Prevent Sitting Bike Syndrome

Just get your SDAR buddies to ride your bikes for you a couple times a month. We'll help you out.
  19. My buddy Jim and I did a long day trip to Glamis. Left Alpine 4am. Got home about 7pm. Temps were perfect, Sand still had a touch of moisture to it. Got to make lots of fresh tracks in the sand. No crowds, only saw maybe 100 people during our 8 hours we spent there. I'm hooked on riding the sand. Been six or seven weeks in a row of desert trips. Life is good.
  20. Done that ride twice this month. Awesome ride, wet sand is the bomb. Jealous, I gotta work.
  21. My 14 RMZ450 was one of those bikes that's very squirrely. Made lots of changes but the most effective to stabilize it for me for the least money was putting on a longer chain and moving the rear wheel all the way back.
