lowering ktm 500 or 350 exc

George (Suspension 101) lowered a 525 for my dad internally and it came out awesome. Won't let anyone else touch my stuff. Except my wife.
  3. Dirt is wet, temps are cool. Be ready to ride at 8:30 at the tree. Kenny

    Lark 5-10

The dirt is good. No dust. No puddles or slop like corral. Corral should be amazing for you on Monday.
  5. 8 am at the crossroads or 4 corners. Lets make fresh tracks in the mud. Intermediate pace. Lark works for me if you want to do that instead. Kenny
  6. Cool temps. Wet dirt with some mud mixed in. Sdhydro is no longer a ranger virgin. Rode Ranger first thing. Rob rides that DRZ like a stud. Did the usual trails as well. Found a wallet full of cash, then found its owner. Good times.
  7. That's how you make fresh tracks. We can swing back for you if you give us a time. Are you in Rob?
  8. 8 at 4 corners works for me. Riding by 8:15 or so.
  9. I was impressed. GoGoGavin41 did a good job of hanging with on the single track, whoops, and a few boulder sections on the 990. Nice temps, not much dust, good times. Kenny
  10. I got to see this. I'll be there. Black F150. Yellow bike. Kenny
  11. My first bike was a 73 XR75. My boys is getting a RMZ like his dad. When he turns 4, start him early.
  12. Only good picture. Went shopping today.
  13. Course was even rougher than 2 weeks ago. Sand is even softer. I got a horrible start, my bike always starts first kick except at the start where it gets performance shy or something and takes 3 kicks. Lots of rough whoops, tore up sand washes, technical rock crawler trails, and few times through the dunes. There was an awesome photo worthy moment as three of us went over the bars at the same time side by side. We all high fived and rode on. I was able to pass 2 or 3 bikes each time we hit the technical stuff as they were either stuck or fallen down in the rocks. I also made a couple passes on pole line road at 90+mph. Thanks Darren for helping get over the fear of going that fast I did my pit stops in about 60 seconds this race, just a quick splash of gas and a swig of water. I made a couple passes that way as well. Temps were in the 60's to low 70's. Windy enough that dust was not an issue. Last Desert race of the season until Sept 20. Heal quickly Darren so I can chase your crazy butt around the desert. Wont know results for a few days, the electronic score system was not working.
  14. Darren went down hard at 60-70 plus Sunday at Corral Canyon. He blew a corner on the perimeter road, hit the fence, it launched him over a tree and he landed on rocks about 100 feet away and 20-30 feet down hill then bounced till he wound up upside down hanging from a tree. Huge thank you to the other riders and the 4X4'ers who stop to help. There was a group of jeeps that stopped, one of them being a paramedic. Huge group effort getting him up the hill on a piece of plywood - improvised backboard and to the ambulance who called in life flight. He was sent to the trauma unit at Sharp. Darren had some angels looking out for him and is lucky to be alive. 1 partially collapsed lung, 1 lung fully collapsed. Multiple badly broken ribs, 2 broken collar bones. Please send prayers for our friend He will recover .
  15. Debbi had only been a week since her crash. They're quite the pair now. Thank God they have grown kids to help take care of them. Heal up quick, both of you.
  16. District 38. 4-12-15. Superstition. Starts about 9 There's at least 3 of us from SDAR - Darren(350 Thumper) , Chad and a couple of his friends and myself. Come watch the race and cheer us on or race with us, its only $40.
  17. I good reminder for us to slow down a bit.
  18. All I've changed from 1st to second race was backing on my clickers a little bit. I lasted a lot longer with the softer ride last week and was able to go to work on Monday without hating life. Like you said, lots more rough ---- than high speed. Still have my bike geared for 98mph but the big RMZ has the HP to handle it. That's my chance to catch up. Passed three bikes each time we got into the 3 or 4 miles of fast ground last race. As for the heat, I'm riding naked.
  19. Official results came out. I was 4th or 5th. Chad pulled a no show. Chad's buddy Courtney and I raced each other and pitted together. Felt good to finish ahead of a guy 12 years younger and 80lbs lighter than me. I'm in this to have fun and finish. SD Lineman. Come pit with us next race. Are you on a KTM? I tried keeping up with you when you passed me but was trying hard just to not piss my pants on every bump. Lesson learned, only have one 24 ounce coffee on the way there. Not three.
  20. Unofficial results. They told me I came in 3rd. Did my pit stop in 2 minutes this time. Would have been faster except I had to pee. Large turn out today. Probably 15 - 20 bikes in senior class. I felt like I rode the best I ever have and the RMZ was running happy happy. Can't wait to do it again in two weeks.
  21. Can't wait. Can't hardly sleep at night like a kid going to Disneyland. Getting prepared for Sunday Downing Pediasure to get my self well hydrated. New tires. Race gas just because I want it. Tear off's. Water. Snacks Red Bull I know I'm forgetting something
  22. I'll be down Sunday morning at 7am. Senior novice.

    YAMALUBE CARBURETOR MAINTENANCE DIP

Darren(Ex 350 Thumper now that he bought a 450), sounds like we need to go to AZ and get some good gas and carb cleaner. Mount up a paddle tire. We'll hit Gordon's on the way there and Buttercup on the way back. $40 for a room in Yuma.
