  1. Old guys at the MX track. Jim and I will be there pretending to be 20 again getting multiple feet of air (2 or 3 at least) off the table tops and wishing we could shoot huge roost's out of the corners. Join us if you dare. I'm in a black F150 with a yellow bike and a red bike. Kenny About 8am
  2. I'm walking on it in a Velcro splint boot cast thing. Worked today. I'll be riding again in 3 - 4 weeks.
  3. I'm so f-ing tight when it comes to forking up $500 for good boots. I will now Waiting for the wife to get home so I can find out what insurance I have. I only pay the bills but have never used it.
  4. I ride a lot faster than I used to Bob. Wasn't riding alone. Didn't crash. The sole of my O"Neil boots is broke in half from when my toes touched my ankle but it felt like my toes hit my knee.
  5. Cancel. Broke my foot at Corral Canyon this morning. DONT RIDE IN CHEAP BOOTS

    DirtBike Magazine GT216AA test

I've had one on since November with at least 4-8 hours a week on it. Many desert races and lots of single track. Just starting to have small chuncks in the side tread. I'll probably never even try another front tire. I have a new one in the garage waiting and bought one for my dad.

    lark-June 7

1kstep-Chad and I ran into Ty and Blake on the trail after we split up and rode with them for a few hours. It's been a while. Good to ride with you guys. Damn you've both gotten fast on the single track.

    MT-21 or Maxxis desert rears?

I've run several Maxis Desert IT's and really like them. Recently switched to the Dunlop AT81RC and love it. Superior traction to the Maxis. Tracks much straighter in the sand when I nail it. I got 2 district 38 races and about 10-12 local rides out of one. That's a lot for me. About the same lifespan as a Maxis.
  9. Start time about 8am. Lark or Corral. Intermediate pace. Who's in?

    corral today

Was pretty warm to ride Ranger. We did the faster but technical stuff after you goys bailed. 4&5 I think.
  11. I'll be at the crossroads at 8. I'll be the guy with the oak tree in the back of my truck to meet under.
  12. Lots of us showed up to have fun today. Wet but not muddy. Nice temps. Lots of fun and a few good spills. Started with Ranger then hit some of the rock crawler trails. The other guys will have pictures as well. Lots of different bikes. KTM 300 KTM350 KTM525 DRZ400 Older DR250(I think) A Husky A CRF 450 and my RMZ450 I may be forgetting one. Most all got some battle scars to prove it today.
  13. Darren, we visited your crash site. We need to come up with a name for it. Lets start a poll Awe **** I hit the fence bend Almost dead man's corner "Who you racing bro" wash out Life flight launch Any others. Glad your healing up so fast. He was at my place doing wheelies on a scooter Saturday (Wearing full gear) Love you bro
  14. We call that Looping it. And you did it with style.
  15. Rob on his DRZ400. Me on my RMZ450. Rob did a heck of a job riding the dunes on the DRZ. I think he's addicted to sand now. Also rode over to plaster city via pole line then a lot of whoops on old race course. Also did the jeep trails on the North side. Rode about 5 hours. Weather was amazing, no wind until about 2, temps in the 70's.
  16. Corral Canyon. Intermediate pace. Who's in?
  17. Were riding Corral Canyon. 8am at 4 corners ready to ride.
  18. Darren, your nuts bro. Take time to heal so you don't re-brake your bones like I did. We have plenty time to ride this Summer. You can go with us and watch - Never mind that would be torture.
  19. 6 at Carl's Jr. Tavern road exit. I have gas cans already full and ready to go. We'll have lunch in Ocotillo on the way home.
  20. Meet at Carls Jr in Alpine at 6 or earlier if it works for you. 619-922-4554 Call me tomorrow to confirm. Going to bed now.
  21. I'm kidding. We can start at super, do a big loop over to painted gorge, back thru Plaster City. Then do a loop thru the mud hills around super, thru the jeep trails on the north side, a couple passes thru the dunes, blast across the dry lake at WFO, hit about a million whoops along the way. Then refuel and head over to Ocotillo wells if we still have the energy. I know the area well, lets do it. Anyone else in?
  22. Or we can put a paddle tire on that DRZ and hit Gordons Well.
  23. Ok, desert trip or local is good with me. Temps look good in the desert Saturday. Probably one of our last shots at less than 100. Lets hit Superstition. I'll drive from Alpine. Kenny
