  1. It was 70 at Glamis Saturday with no crowds.
  2. George put the same base valve in my 500 along with some other spring I don’t quite understand. Made it even better in the whoops. Definitely a bit more aggressive. Haven’t had a chance to ride it Full Throttle through the whoops yet. Further testing to come in the morning in Glamis.

    Time for new tread

GT333 is my go to. Amazing traction everywhere. Does not last quite as long as a Maxxis but traction makes up for the difference Take it easy on the slab It’s a medium compound and I can round out the knobs quickly doing wheelies on the street I run it with tubliss system at approximately 5 psi in the nasty stuff. 15 psi in the desert. I ran the MotoZ hybrid extreme for about 300 miles in Big Bear this summer. It’s on one of my friends bikes now. Still looks new. Hooks up in the rocks amazing. Fairly quiet on the slab. Lacks a bit of traction cornering on hard pack. Not the greatest sand tire. Knobs are close together. Can’t seem to wear the thing out. It wont hold air with tubliss system. That’s why I took it off. Shinko fatty on the front. At $50 a pop VS $100 for the GT who cares if the Golden might get 1 more ride. I love fresh tires.
  4. The Butterflies are thick at Superstition as well. BTW. Descanso Junction food is 10X better. Just a bit west. Recommend the Jack Janiels Tri Tip and eggs.
  5. 9am. Wheeler Rd by the info board near the dunes. Dunes rocks whoops single track and rock crawler trails Intermediate level ride. Im in a Silver F150.
  6. We rode until 1:30. Wind didn’t pick up until the drive home.
  7. Go see George at Suspension 101. He does amazing things with the WP Suspension. Your welcome to test ride mine so you can see for yourself.
  8. Welcome. I’m on a 500 also. Superstition Sunday at 9. Ill post a ride in a few minutes

    What a day!

No 1 direction trails so be aware of head on collisions. Mild fire road on the outer loop. Great single - two track on the interior trails. Some Advanced rock crawler stuff. There is a map at 4 corners and trails are marked. Fun place to ride. Conditions are perfect this year. Be cautious of oncoming traffic.
  10. Always down for a Pine Valley Ride as long as it’s not raining to hard. Im 10 minutes away and you show you some cool stuff there. Hit me up another time.
  11. Anyone else going Sunday. We (Getsmacked - Anthony Thomas E and myself) will be riding the hard route then possibly do a second loop on the easy loop. Getting there about 6am to get our bikes in line. 2 years ago I did this ride in the rain. Probably my number one best ride ever. Anyone want to join us. Must be an advanced type of rider.
  12. Don’t do it(TPI). Find a 1 hour 18 like I did. Kidding. I like to get stuff figured out. Good luck with that one from what I’ve read about it. Supposedly Slavens Racing has a good Tuner for it. It’s a little over a grand. But we both have the sickness and the budget to build nice toys.
  13. You and George need to ride it. This offer is open to all who promise not to wreck it to feel what it’s like Firm but plush. Can’t bottom it out and never out of control.

    Tuning 15 exc

Welcome to to Orange crew. Break out the credit card. Don’t tell the wife about it. Do it right the first time with out buying stuff twice. ( I’ve done that to many times). Get George to dial in your Suspension. Hang on and smile.
  15. The 300 did well. I went the wrong way on the pipe with the Pro Circuit. It’s all top end. Will be putting a Knarly on as well as a Recluse in the next week or so. 300 for single track D37 Tecate stuff. 500 for D38 sand dune longer rides. Only getting about 25 mpg on the 300. The 500 is about 50. No substtite for raw tourque in the sand (500) The 300 gets hot quick when pinned in the sand. It’s so good in the tech stuff. So is the 500 but just a bit heavier. The 500 is getting the same Suspension setup as the 300 this weekend. Makes for an awesome 2 bike garage. (As well as my vintage 250 WR250 2 stroke flat track bike)
  16. Yes that was Thomas riding Soboba on for his 62nd Birthday Ride.
  17. Next is my 18 500EXC with the same setup as my 300. Cant wait.
  18. Dirt was perfect. Rode a mix of the regular and Black Diamond. Very challenging up and down hills on the Black Diamond trails. Just a few pictures
  19. BTW. If you have WP Suspension on a 17-18 KTM do yourselves a favor and go see George. He has this setup dialed in.
  20. Rode Soboba today. Saw and got passed by Giovanni a few times. Got to ride and BS with Cameron Steele. My suspension is so spot on amazing. No desire to touch a clicker. If Noah was riding my bike he’d be hard to beat.

  22. Everywhere is really good this year. Looking forward to riding it on the new 300. 2 years ago was on the WR450F. That bike is a lot like a tractor. Strong but heavy and will do anything. The 300 feels more like a Mountain Bike in comparison. Light nimble and quick. I’ll post pictures.
