It was a great, many thanks to Cradaddy for organizing and leading the ride. Thanks also to Dave who was riding sweep and was patient with a slow coach like me. @Charlie I am sore as hell too. Gotta change that Pain in the butt, OEM seat. :-) Brij.

Hello Charlie, I am pretty much in the same boat as you are. I am also in San Marcos and been trying to find places to ride that are not 2hrs away. I did ride some truck trails around Ramona. But looking for more places to ride. Brij

@CalNub, Thanks for all that info. I was not sure what size trailer to get and if bike would fit on them etc. Now with this information my life just got a whole lot easier. I agree about the price, I have been looking on CL did not find any trailer lesser than $450. For the price of $260, I am not not thinking much, will be building one soon. Does it need some accessories for tie down points? @Crusty Nice to have friends like that.

Thank you for all the input. Specially for the photos. I just wanted a sanity check, guess the idea passed the check. @Dirtdame I should have RTFM. According to the manual it can tow 1000lbs. So now the next question, what kind of trailer. Does anyone have a trailer they want to get rid off? @Calnub How is the harbor freight trailer? Is it easy to modify it to carry a motorcycle? Does it carry one or two bikes? @crusty What kind of trailer is yours? It looks compact and should not take a lot of space to store. Once again thanks for the input.

Hello, Pretty new to the sport and quickly realizing that a trailer or truck to haul the motorcycle is quite handy or at times necessary. But I drive 2 door Acura Integra and wondering if it can handle towing a trailer loaded with the bike. I have KLX250s which is about 300lbs. Never towed anything before, so got no clue if this is a bad idea or not. Any input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This was my first ride and it was awesome. The steep section on Jasper trail gave me some trouble, had one fall. One lesson learnt, not to go out on your first ride in brand new boots. I had a tough time using rear brakes. Overall a great day, thanks for taking me out guys.

Wish I could make it to this ride. For now it looks like I can't. This place is about 2hrs drive from San Marcos area. Are all off-road sites similar distance away from San Marcos? Maybe someone in this locality can organise a noob ride. (DirtDame; wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Also how do I become paid member. Where do I pay? :-)

New to dirt ride, so probably not ride for me for now. Plus it is some distance from me. I will try to catch up with next time. Hopefully next time it will be a little to north. :-)
