Anyone interested in a few hours of riding Friday the 18th
Open for suggestions Corral, McCain, Otay
Would like to be done by 3ish if possible - prefer more dirt then pavement - any level is more then welcome

Great SDAR ride today through Jamul on 94 East with a blue sky and green hillsides, along Otay Lakes Rd to the camp grounds ( meet spot 2) dirt roads from there over the top of Otay Mountain, down past DH junction, along border then back out to Marron Valley Rd, to 94 West through Dulzura, through the check point and back into Jamul........
Ken, you were missed today - look forward to getting another one in soon
Getting ready inside campground connivence store parking lot / Otay Lakes Road - 10 riders total at that point

This ride sounds great.....as I look out my hotel window in Detroit, MI with a temp of 25 and snow falling, all I can think about is Sunny SD
I get in late tomorrow night ( providing no airport delays ) and with a little maintenance I should be up and running
Do you think you will be coming up Skyline past Lawson Valley on the way , I can jump right in... or I will see you at SB

After dan and digdug left, we went and did more riding and went down this hill. I thought I could go up it but the wet rocks and tires didn't work out. I'll go back and give it another go. its a lot steeper than it looks. free lunch for anyone that goes up it. josh and ken thought it was really hilarious.

Ride out of Pine Valley Exit (meet at the parking lot) at noon.
We can decide where to ride once we get there.

Dan, sorry for the hijack. Hope you find some early birds to ride with you. I would be holding you up riding the trials bike and my rides will be short. I hope to hook up with you on a ride soon with a real dirt bike. Ride safe!

Looking to get a ride in today - Hopefully
Would love to summit the fire road off of Japatul ( difficult ) then summit the peak of Gaskill Mt. ( via foot )
Will be taking the CRF 450
Looking to do a recon for climbing and photos into Lawson Valley...
Change of footwear and shedding a few layers for estimated 30 min+ hike
Less then 10/15 miles of riding but pretty aggressive and a great view from the top -
Will be taking back trails through Lawson Valley to Skyline then to Japatul = Various meeting spots
Time range 2/4pm flexible

Sorry I didn't see your post in time, Dan. I'd definitly like to do that, and those trails sound interesting...What day works for everybody? I'm riding sunday morning, but free otherwise.
Just as the weather is approaching perfect..
I need to go out of town Sun for a week - I will be around today / Sat, if you want to get a few hours in - or I will surface in a week and say hey, my schedule is pretty unpredictable / flexible so weekdays are my favorite for obvious reasons

I live in Jamul / Lawson Valley and love riding lyons valley / skyline / Japatul area
I know a few local Jamulian trails that the local neighborhood kids did a great job on as well
Usually link it up with a ride to top of Lawsons / Gaskill / Otay, or out to Corral
sounds like we might be close to each other, lets hook up for a ride
Today - Wednesday, I will be free for a few hours late morn - early afternoon

Just posting up to see if anyone wants to do a street ride on the DS bikes, Starting in Rancho SD, heading out Steel Canyon rd area, out to lyons valley, maybe out to corral from there if anyone is up for a longer ride...May need a new rear tire if I'm doing too much dirt. Could also head over to Veijas Grande rd just to make it a "dual sport" ride.
Open to suggestions on a day to do it...Free all days except thursday mornings.

what the heck were all those wht trucks at the PV staging area???
Not sure either sounds like HLS / BP - All I saw was the black truck, I hit the trail at about 4:15
very quiet on the trail, few rain drops made for an awesome ride...
