Rode Wildcat Canyon home with TrophyHunter and parted at the 8 continued east, topped off in Pine Valley took Bear Valley to Buckman Springs up to 4 corners Los Pinos then back home through Campo 94 heres a few pictures along the way Thanks again it was great to meet new riders and see familiar faces

    Jamul residents?

I do remember that... There are a ton of perspectives and opinions on where to live on this planet, as you can see with the post Bikeslut started I've been traveling for a living for the last 20 years and have fortunately been all over the country / world...I guess to be honest I have been chasing the weather the last few years and SD in general is a very difficult place to beat, with year round adventurous activities....who knows where I will end up next... isn't that part of life and the adventure behind it all If you do plant some roots here in Ha-mool welcome....... and the offer for help and trail guidance will always be there

    Summer Rains

Ha... here I was thinking he was talking about me....... That was a great ride after the rains, I covered a lot of ground some of the last pictures it was warming up fast, I had gone through most of my water so that was the call for me to head back It really is beautiful up there.......... I would consider a moto ride up, then hike / summit Gaskill & Lawson if anyones interested - when it starts to cool down a little... A few secret camp spots and decent rock climbing up there as well The pictures were with my phone so.... I was pretty happy with them Heres one from the next day around Laguna
  24. Nice drenching down pour today in eastern jamul.....A rare treat Perfect excuse to dust off the ride, throw on the boots and go exploring......... Heres a few shots from the top of Pancake Rock Lawson Peak in background Looking ENE into Corral Canyon / Pine Creek Wilderness / Los Pinos Looking NNE at Gaskill Peak Looking up at Lawson Peak Looking south at Lyons Peak and Otay Mountain in the background Looking east at Barret Reservoir Cool rock carn garden that seems to grow and grow The smell of rain in the hills... Looking west into Lawson Valley with Sycuan Peak in the back ground - love this view..... This was the first time I have seen the panoramic sunrise power link from this trail ........ Great rock formations in this super secret spot........... Little rainbow trying to breakout in background Jamul Rocks This is where it ended for me...this super tight single track turned pretty gnarly and made a hard left at the big boulder and continued on, maybe another day...thats Gaskill Peak Another great shot looking into Lawson Valley Viejas Mountain in background on right Cuyamaca Peak in background on left On my way back looking south at Lawson Peak Felt pretty good to hit the pavement Nice sunset when I got home There was a beautiful rainbow to the east on the way home......... What a great day
