Bullhead is always a great time....... Crawdaddy's got the place pretty dialed, we tend to find a few new wrinkles in the maze of single and double track... Pretty easy approach up that left side with a minor step up Daddy taking off in the distance Exotic Bullhead wildlife sighting Box Canyon pee break Thanks Crawford for another good trip..........

logical path would be - 94 / Honey Springs Rd to the secret gate entrance that NOW has a sign to keep out - follow the secret trails to lyons valley (not allowed) - up and over Lawson Peak the back way (not allowed) - espinosa trail to corral (not allowed) or - Forest Rd 16S04 through Pine Creek wilderness from Japatul (bicycles only) - actually quite nice !! Just my limited local knowledge

3K is a tough one to swallow for those who live close to the border of Mexico and frequent Baja on a regular basis. Makes me think I'm in the wrong business I know a lot of work and support goes into an event like this, and definitely not dissing. Throw 1500 peso's in the pocket and you can rip it up for a few days no problema......!!

Jim Take a look at Celito Lindo in San Quintin - it right next next to the Santa Maria Honestly I think the rooms are nicer the foods definitely better and the bar its second to none in the area and its 1/2 the price

+1 I was coming back from spending weekend down south and saw the remnants of this Just a sheriff and the flatbed was just pulling up... I thought for sure I would be reading about a fatality today Glad to hear he was ok

I rolled up Sat night expecting to see a few faces but had Cals to myself - there were some lingering stories about a few moto riders from the night before Super quiet and very relaxing..... It really is a shame about the water

You might want to stay away from Wisecarver lots of private property up there I look forward to seeing you out there...... That's Lawson Peak --- Great views like you said at the top - good climbing up there as well I've been working on a few trails at the top - post up next time and I'll try and join you..

Took A cruise out yesterday to Carrizo Overlook after a nice downpour in Jamul / East County Looks like a brief few sprinkles hit the area, and the Lark parking lot was empty - where as the Pine Valley area looked really nice nice... not sure what the next few days has in store but a little more precip sure would be nice
