    I’ve been keeping both also. For me the Spot is just easy and fits in my pocket of my riding pants. I use the Delorme for texting my wife when out of cell coverage.

    I like the idea of just running them until they explode. Then just borrow any random KLR and ride it to a UHaul dealer. I hear this works well.

    I change countershaft sprockets at least 6 times a year from 13 to 14 to 15 depending on where I’m riding. Never had a leak and I reuse the same washer over and over. I just rebend it a little. Your results will probably vary. CiD

    People don’t like to lose money so sometimes it takes time for them to realize reality. I’m negotiating on 8 acres near my house that a guy from Chicago bought in 07 for $525K. I offered him $125K he came back at $249K. I think we’ll probably settle at $175K. It takes time and I could still lose it to someone else but I know what I’m willing to pay and won’t pay any more.
