I had a Powerlet on my KLR 650 for my Alaska run last year and had no problems with it at all. I did over 3,000 miles of dirt and gravel roads up there. I installed it in case I had to use my air compressor, but that was extra weight I didn't really need to carry with me as I had no tire/tube problems. The spring loaded cap on the Powerlet keeps dirt and water out, so there is very little chance for it to fail. I intend to install one on my DRZ prior to the TAT in September and haul the compressor on that run also.
