  1. The good: Nice utility quad with only 61 hours on it. 4x4 with locking front differential, everything works. CA title in non operational status. Starts right up, idles smoothly and runs great. The bad: In the first year or two of this quads life, it was run into a tree on the front right side. The frame is bent a bit, the wheel is pushed back a ways. The front push bar was mangled, but sort of straightened out. The quad rides stable and straight up to its top speed, just makes really tight right turns and wide left turns. 😂 I have taken it out to the desert a few times and it’s fun, not fast. $1000
  2. I have a friend who asked about it earlier, if he’s not taking it I will let you know.

    Honda 90

Great little bikes, I have had a few. They seem to be gaining popularity a bit. What are you asking for it?
  4. Let’s try this again, I post these up every time I see them. SDAR has our name on a few trails, lots of us enjoy riding here so giving back a few hours is a good idea. The rangers I spoke with during the last event were very open to having some people come in to open up some of the trails that have been overgrown, and installing the rock barriers/ gate keepers to keep the small tracks limited to small vehicles.
  5. Yeah, it was a nice day to visit there. Then the wind was howling through the canyon on the way out, it was difficult to stay upright on the bikes.

    Expired motocycle driving licence

Likely just the written? I had an out of state license for almost 30 years, it was expired for about 15 (military exemption allowed this) and when I got my CA license just did the written exam for both auto and MC…voila!

  8. Yes, ADV Rider event. Very cool, we have the entire campground for the weekend at Panamint Springs Resort, over 200 riders. It’s a good way to get introduced to riding Death Valley and a fun time hanging out with friends old and new. I’m finishing up the edit on my video, might be out in a day or so.

    Where am I ???

I like the roll chart, simple and effective. I have a bunch of them hanging around. Glad to see someone still using them.
  10. Kug, yes! Keep your eyes open, he’s everywhere.
  11. Maybe I could join you in the Rally Lexus.
  12. I will consider it with my Trail 90!
  13. I have not tried yet, will install it tomorrow maybe.
  14. Good group of people, had a few maintenance items get finished. Udo made me a really nice custom spacer for my 40 year old Honda. The chicken was great. Thanks Dave for setting it up.
  15. Still planning to show up. Small bit of machine work I could use help with.

    Why AI is bad

    I see no issues.
  17. Thanks for spelling that out for @DSM8, I'm beginning to think he's losing it lately. More than usual, I mean....

Plastic tank restoration - any advice

I had found an entire parts bike but was too lazy to drive 100 miles to get it. Hopefully I don’t regret that later.
  20. My 85 Honda XR350R has been a fun machine, I want to pretty it up a little bit. I purchased some new decals and have some frame paint, but I really want to make the tank look better. It’s faded and dry/crusty looking. What method have you used that worked well?

Plastic tank restoration - any advice

Fire is an option. No bolt on aftermarket for this one year only model, probably could adapt something from similar year models

Plastic tank restoration - any advice

This tank is beyond plastic polish, the video Mimi posted is probably the way to go. Including the music.
  23. Tent is installed on the truck, Honda has been cleaned and lubed. Heading out tomorrow.
  24. I’m thinking about going out 28-29 December. Need to get my RTT mounted and get my 85 Honda going.
