new bike with interesting connections

so my dad got fed up with his aprilia being in the shop for over a month after he only put 180 miles on it since may of last year so he talked to gp who sold us the bike and is currently working on it that he wanted to trade for a husky TE 510. today he and the guy at GP came to an agreement for a trade. the husky my dad is aquireing happens to be the same one that Paul road in the 07 desert dash!

So your dad is going to trade a new 2009 aprilia for a used 2006/7 husky? I hope to god your dad is going to get some money back. He probably paid the shop a fortune for the new bike. He should be trading for like years at minimum.

sorry i should have written that better it was the 07 rxv 550 and this is the second time in the shop and its been in there for over a month and not street legal. the husky is.

well the first time it went in was around june and that was because of oil comming from the airfilter but gp fixed that within a week no problem. this time we brought it it because it was acting like a bad starter. they first thought it was something to do with the decompressor. then after fiddling around with everything found that it was indeed the starter as well as some tight rear cylinder valves. about that time something happened in the shop and now as my dad was telling me there is a different person in charge of the service department and somehow in all of the confusion the starter was never orderd. my dad just got a little frusterated and wanted a street legal bike (while my rxv 450 was street legal his 550 was not) so since they had the husky in there he bargained a trade.
