I did an overenighter on Friday in Portrero, and did a little bit exploring. Here's some photos from my "trip". It bothers me that the turkey vultures kept following me?

I'm mixed about the Mosko, seems like a lot of straps and not really enough space. I bought that 42 liter duffle and placed it where the 8L bag goes. The existing straps won't reach, and using other straps just isn't that convenient. I also need to pack more efficiently. It's start though.

Maybe Portrero county park? I was the only one in the tent sites, but there were people right across from me the other direction. I would guess at least 10-20 campers there. I met someone at breakfast who said the only time it's full is when a renaissance group is there. Thanks. I used two blow up Luci lights for the tent and bike for 30 seconds and painted the tree with my flashlight. I had fun.

"When people were discussing the rally concept a few strings ago, I thought it would be fun to do a something similar for us using GPS tracks. You load the tracks and then have to take pictures to prove you made it to certain checkpoints marked with Kug Stickers...kind of like a scavenger hunt. Ride it with a buddy" Good idea, plus I'm running low on Kug stickers.
